North Street might be one of the most run down streets in the city centre, but that all radically changed in 2013, as street artists from the UK, Ireland and beyond descend on the area for Hit the North.
The creative force behind See No Evil, Inky, headed to Belfast to help kick-start Hit the North, with a key panel session at Culture Night Belfast on Friday 20 September. They were on hand then to offer expert advice for both artists and those interested in the looking at how street art can be used as an agent of regeneration in Belfast.
Painting commenced on Thursday 19th, at locations all along North Street, and continued as part of the Culture Night Belfast celebrations the following evening. The array of striking artworks were then completed on Saturday 21st, alongside some great music and family friendly activities.
