ALI-P

Ali Parks aka Ali-P is a self employed artist, illustrator and designer based in lisburn. 

She has a degree in Visual Communications and has been building her art business since going self employed in 2016. 

She is a rebel with a big heart who is obsessed with being creative and loves to create work that is vibrant, bold and colourful.
Pattern and colour are intrinsic in her work. Ali loves to mix spontaneous, organic elements with geometric patterns and lines. 

Ali’s artwork comes straight from her heart. It is a reflection of her interests and passions – music, spirituality, nature, female empowerment, energy and love. She gets great satisfaction from connecting with the viewer in a positive way and hopefully making them smile. 

“I feel a sense of euphoria when I am creating something I love. It feels like a healthy addiction!’ 

She uses traditional mediums of paint and pencil but also works digitally on an IPad often combining these elements. 

She sells paintings and prints and also various products with her patterns and images on them- cushions, totes, bomber jackets etc. She pursues lots of different creative endeavours because that is what keeps her inspired. 

She is currently illustrating a children's book for a local theatre company ‘ Place to Wonder’ 

Ali has always wanted to paint her images on a large scale and is very excited to be joining this year's artists at Hit The North.
