Carla Hodgson is a commercial and studio artist based in Co Down Northern Ireland.

A painter who works on windows , walls and outsize canvas using a mix of sprays, acrylics, inks, collage, pencil and pen.

Carlas changing medium flows from her education in the University of Ulster (2001) where she developed in mixed media techniques.

Carlas personal art practice is like herself, bright and bold. She aspires for her work to be thought provoking, positive and to raise a smile. Inspired by the Octopus, Carla uses their inherent versatility blending them into interesting and or funny scenarios, Carla is gaining a name for herself as ‘The Octopus Lady’.
