Holly pereira

Holly Pereira is a Singaporean-Irish illustrator and muralist based in Dublin, Ireland.

Her work is colourful, bold and expressive. Her hand-painted murals often take reference from folk art and typography, weaving narrative throughout the mural through the carefully considered use of motif and palette.

Through her work, Pereira seeks to create bright and exuberant environments in which we are invited to connect with the existing architecture, and the historical and cultural aspects of a place. She also seeks to explore the effects of colour, light and design in the public space.

Her current practice draws from many disciplines, including murals, illustration, animation and lettering design. She is also a proud member of The Minaw Collective, an all-female street art collective based in Ireland.
