Rob Hilken
Rob Hilken is a street artist based in Belfast. He uses patterns or repeated symbols and images in his murals, which draw inspiration from the pop art movement of the 1960s and 70s. He has recently been making work on his social media channels which use photography to document found objects or sculptures that he situates in public spaces.
We got to know Rob as we were both founder members of Vault Artist Studios. Over time we pushed him to take on bigger and bigger jobs which has allowed him to work in Street Art full time now. Over the last couple of years through his work for Daisy Chain, in particular in Banbridge and as part of the Belfast Entries project, he has become an important voice in the Belfast Street Art scene.
