This was part of a series of works completed in Bangor in the summer of 2021 as part of a Covid recovery programme to replace the cancelled Seaside Revival event.

Holly chose to recreate the lyrics of a Patty Page song ‘Old Cape Cod’… It also happens to have been sampled by Groove Armada, but Holly was insistent that her inspiration was Patty Page. Even though there aren’t really sand dunes in Bangor the piece is beautifully evocative of the seaside and (whisper it) the connection to a 90s rave classic also has made all the old ravers in Bangor very happy.
